The Chroma Haiku Hollow Edge Chef's Knife is an all-purpose knife which features a curved blade allowing you to rock the knife on the cutting board for a more precise cut. Designed for mincing, slicing, and chopping vegetables, slicing meat, and more. The hollow edge prevents food from sticking to the blade. The sharp blade is constructed of molybdenum vanadium stainless steel with a X50 Cr 54 Rockwell hardness. The blade is sharpened, polished, and mounted with a natural Honoki wood handle and meguki bamboo pin inserted into the side of the handle, as in the ancient process of the Samurai-sword. Hand washing recommended with warm soapy water. Made in Japan.
