Description

The Kurosaki SG2 Senko Ei Nakiri is ideal to mince, slice, and dice vegetables for stir-fry, salads, soups, and more. Yu Kurosaki is a young, talented master blacksmith living in the Takefu Knife Village, close to the city of Echizen, Japan. His knives are well known throughout Japan as well as around the world. In fact, the hammered dents on each blade are Yu Kurosaki's signature finish, made of high quality stainless steel with a sharp, long lasting edge. This unique pattern ensures food won't stick to the blade. Yu Kurosaki provides products that combine sophisticated design, beauty, and ultimate sharpness, rather than just a tool for cutting ingredients.

Good knife but poor finish where the handle meets the blade

Product arrived as advertised. Only issue is that the finish where the handle meets the blade is quite poor. Looks like it was rehandled improperly with a piece of the tang still sticking out.

It’s relatively minor detail that doesn’t affect the performance of the knife. Just wish it was more polished for being a $200+ knife. Would probably consider a different vendor next time even if it’s a little more pricey.
