Trio Knife Set with Case
Rachael Ray says:
"Furi already made such legendary knives and I wanted to add one final touch: a super- grippy and comfy handle. For such a serious knife, with all the Füri technology, the price is also great value for the gourmet home cook, or chef!"
DURABILITY
The Furi RR Gusto-Grip blade, bolster and tang are fully forged from a single piece of the finest German CrMoV stainless steel alloy for supreme strength. The handle core is made from ultra-tough molded polypropylene (PP), with an injection-molded synthetic outer layer of "super grippy" thermoplastic elastomer (TPE, a durable synthetic rubber). These components are all very strong and will not separate with normal use. There are no rivets or wooden handle pieces that can crack or fall apart over time.
COMFORT
The reverse wedge design, finger groove and elastomer molding of the Furi RR Gusto-Grip handle ensures a snug fit with the contours of any hand.
GRIP
The handle is covered with soft thermoplastic synthetic rubber to provide a safe, slip resistant, extremely secure grip. The patented Furi wedge-shape prevents your hand from slipping forward, even when wet or oily. The harder you cut, the more the knife handle locks into your hand, making it safer and easier to control.
SHARPENING
Fully forged from the finest German CrMoV alloy (hardened and tempered to =HRC56) for the ideal combination of edge retention, ease of sharpening and corrosion resistance. (The scallops in the blade simply reduce cutting friction by introducing air to the cut.) Every Furi RR Gusto-Grip knife comes standard with an "extreme sharp" edge created at the factory with the Furi RR Tech Edge Pro Sharpening System. Tech edge was developed by Furitechnics Australia as a tool for optimum sharpening and honing by professional chefs and home cooks, and is the recommended method for maintaining a perfect professional edge.
BALANCE
Furi RR Gusto-Grip knives have a solid cast stainless steel counterweight mounted in the end of the handle for precision balance.

The Australian-designed Furi range was released less then 2 years ago and it is now becoming the new standard for leading Chefs worldwide. Traditionalist Chefs have found that Furi wasn't a style-fashion thing after all; the new design features introduced by Furi really do make it superior to others (where it counts the most: hygiene, durability, comfort, grip, ease of sharpening and edge retention). For the professional, the Furi knife reduces fatigue in long repetitive prep sessions and increases precision for fine cuts. This is partly because of the easier slicing the East/West blade allows, but also because the Patented Furi handle requires a lighter grip to do all the same work (the Furi handle acts like a wedge in the hand to eliminate forward slip, and hence it requires less squeezing of the handle, and this means less fatigue).
