The Magnum Plus, at 9 inches, is a taller version of the Magnum, which is 6 inches tall. They both have the same large grinding mechanism. The Magnum Plus, because of its extra length, gives better leverage and is more useful as a kitchen tool. To fill the grinder, the circular depression on the side is a hole in a band that encircles the grinder. Turn it sideways and it will reveal the loading hole. You can adjust the grinding coarseness on all our mills. There is a thumbscrew on the bottom of all our mills except the Minimill. Turn the thumbscrew clockwise for a finer grind , counter clockwise for a coarser grind. The Minimill’s thumbscrew is found on the top of the mill. There is no need to clean the interior of your mill. Use Windex or Fantastic and paper towel to clean the exterior. Our grinders are not filled with pepper or salt, however are available here. Make sure never to put salt in your pepper mill - the salt will corrode the steel. All our mills are made from ABS plastic.
