The Diamond Elite pull-thru manual knife sharpener is the most versatile of all the Edgeware manual sharpeners. It offers 4 sharpening slots. These slots include 2 stages of coarse & fine for sharpening standard Western styled knives as well as 2 stages for sharpening Asian style double beveled knives. The coarse sharpening slots feature preset diamond rods that quickly sharpen the knife at the correct angle every time. The fine slots feature ceramic stones which finish and polish the edge of the knife. For sharpening serrated knife blades, the knife should be pulled thru the fine sharpening slot only. Clean with a damp cloth after use or with a mild brush.
