Versatile & unique, this knife sharpener features interlocking extra fine ceramic wheels that will produce an incredible sharp edge onto your knife blade. Besides placing a very sharp edge onto the knife blade, this new ceramic material removes a minimal amount of steel, extending the life of the knife. The electric sharpening slot will sharpen both sides of a straight edge blade and can be used for a light touch up of an already sharp knife blade. The carbide sharpening slot should be used first if the knife blade is extremely damaged. This slot is also designed to set the initial edge onto the knife blade, and will match the sharpening angle of the ceramic wheel. A pull-out manual scissor sharpener stores inside the machine and easily pulls for sharpening. Included is a cleaning pad to clean the ceramic wheels.
