I'm not sure why I waited so long to pick up a Chinese chef's knife, but really happy I did. The knife is very sturdy and well balanced considering the size of its broad blade. I have many Shun knives, but this was my first Enso. The quality is just as excellent. I would also recommend picking up the magnetic blade guard Enso makes for this knife.

This was given by us to my son's fiancé as a wedding shower gift. Both my son and his fiancé love to cook and their comments have been most enthusiastic. I also think this cleaver is a great first step into true quality cutlery. Will have to give them a few sharpening and care tips for this all-stainless cleaver. I'm a little jealous!
