The Furi Rachael Ray Gusto-Grip blade, bolster and tang are fully forged from a single piece of the finest German CrMoV stainless steel alloy for supreme strength. The handle core is made from ultra-tough molded polypropylene (PP), with an injection-molded synthetic outer layer of "super grippy" thermoplastic elastomer (TPE, a durable synthetic rubber). These components are all very strong and will not separate with normal use. There are no rivets or wooden handle pieces that can crack or fall apart over time. Every Furi Rachael Ray Gusto-Grip knife comes standard with an "extreme sharp" edge created at the factory with the Furi RR Tech Edge Pro Sharpening System.
