This set includes a #1000 grit water whetstone, small & large guide rails and storage box. The #1000 grit water whetstone is the main stone to use for fine sharpening. The small and large guide rails will place the correct blade angle onto the cutting edge. Along with these features a storage box is included to protect the stone and doubles to hold and elevate the stone while sharpening, non-slip feet are on the bottom to hold the storage box/stone in place. This is a great starter kit for those who have not ever used a whetstone. Complete instructions are included. This whetstone should soak in water for 10 to 15 minutes before using. Whetstone measures 8 1/4 X 2 3/4 X 3/4-inch. Made in Japan.
