Zwilling 26 Slot Bamboo Swivel Knife Block

This is a great knife bollocking for those who want to hold all their knives “above ground” and not piled in a drawer. The knife slot sizes are varied enough so it can hold knives of any type and size. There are also places for scissors and sharpening steel. The swivel base works well and is a nice extra.

I bought this recently---had been "storing" all my fine kitchen knives on the cutting board, separately in several drawers...back and forth wherever an empty spot my provide a temporary home--UGH! Now, with my handy-dandy swivel knife block I not only can easily spot the appropriate cutlery of my choice when I need it but, have no worries about possible dismemberment of toes from falling cutlery equipment! Whew, what a relief! Looks rather "sharp" (HA!) in my Hickory kitchen to boot!

After an extensive search... This knife block was the only and best one which fit our criteria:

1) FIVE 2-inch+ wide slots for large knives

2) EIGHT 1-3/8-inch wide slots, long enough for bread and sandwich knives, carvers, and fillet knives

3) ELEVEN 7/8-inch+ wide slots, 3 are in the upper section of the block and plenty long enough for citrus knives and other non-steak knives

4) All slots are HORIZONTAL

5) SOLID Bamboo...not veneer

Truly a quality knife block. The swivel feature is a great added bonus.

Great block with enough space for all your knives, including steak! Keeps those knives all in one place safely out of the way, especially if you have children that tend to put their hands in drawers they can't see into.
