The One-Touch electric salad spinner is battery operated making it simple and fast. You can clean and spin the excess water off lettuce, spinach, cabbage, mushrooms, herbs, cranberries, cherries and cooked pasta such as penne, shells, and bow tie pasta (spaghetti is not recommended). Simply insert the batteries and press the start button and press the stop button when you are finished. The non-slip base will safely hold the salad spinner in place during the process. The 4qt bowl doubles as a serve bowl and basket as a colander, and are dishwasher safe top rack only.
