The ultra-sharp ceramic blade is durable and won't rust or brown foods. Included is a hand guard that will hold the food securely to the slicer and will protect your fingers & hand. For easy slicing, corner notches allow the slicer to rest or sit on top of a bowl. Ceramic blade is made in Japan.
