The MIU Battery-Operated Stainless Salt Mill not only grinds salt quickly and precisely at the touch of a button, but adds a modern look to a kitchen or table. The exterior housing is brushed stainless steel with an acrylic viewing window, but the difference is inside. The salt mill contains a ceramic grinder. Battery-operated, the electric motor inside each mill can be activated with just one hand, eliminating the hard-on-the-wrist twisting that many hand-grinders require. A light comes on automatically at the bottom of the mill to illuminate exactly how much salt is being produced. Each cylinder rotates to either a closed or open position, so that the ground salt or pepper can be contained and used later.
