Place your Miyabi Knife Sharpener on an even, non-slip surface, make sure your knife blade is clean and dry. Hold the knife sharpener by pressing slightly on the surface to secure the unit. With your opposite hand, place the knife vertically (90°) into the desired module at the heel (blade closest to the handle). If your knife edge is very dull, begin with module 1, if you only require fine-tuning the edge, move to module 2. Using light pressure, draw the blade towards you from the heel to the tip keeping the blade level.
