This oil stone has two grits on each side, Fine and Coarse, reducing the cost of owning a variety of grit sizes for sharpening. The Fine India is a medium cutting rate man-made sharpening stone used to provide a fine edge. Use to restore slightly dulled cutting edges and enhance the finish left by Medium and Coarse Crystolon and India stones. Coarse India is also a medium cutting rate man-made sharpening stone for fine edges. Use the coarse side to sharpen dull edges quickly. Model number IB-8.
