This ceramic baking stone is durable, but caution should be exercised to avoid thermal shock. Allow the ceramic stone to cool down before cleaning and avoid extreme temperature changes. For best results, pre-heat the oven to 500°, place the ceramic stone in the wire frame and place in the middle of the oven on the lowest rack for 30 minutes.
