Constructed of durable stain resistant steel this honing steel will keep your knife blades from getting dull. The patented 16° hand guard will guide you when honing, to achieve the correct blade angle. The durable pakkawood handle sits comfortably in your hand and warm to the touch. Simply place the steel tip down on a sturdy surface, line up the blade with the hand guard and gently pull the blade starting from the heel to the tip repeating 3 or 4 times alternating sides. Use the honing steel on a regular basis to maintain your knife blades. Made in Japan
