The Steven Raichlen Spice Injector is designed for injecting spice and herb pastes deep into poultry, roasts, and other thick cuts of meat. Marinade injectors have become an indispensable tools for grilling, but if you've used them, you're familiar with a common limitation; the spices in the injector sauce tend to clog the needle. Our wide mouth injector with meat spike is the solution. Plunge the stainless steel spike into a pork shoulder or rib roast to make a marinade hole, then shoot your favorite herb paste, spice marinade or other flavoring deep into the meat.
To use, carefully pierce marinade holes into the meat using the stainless steel marinade spike. Next, remove cap from marinade injector and place into marinade; pull plunger to fill injector. Guide tip of marinade injector into holes in meat and depress plunger to release marinade. Repeat as necessary.
