The Taylor Infrared Laser Thermometer is a safe, non-contact infrared thermometer that measures surface temperatures. Simply aim the thermometer at the target with the Infrared Lens and press the Measurement button to display the surface temperature. The Distance:Spot is 6:1. Make sure the target area is within the field
of view. Press the "°C/°F" key to switch between oF and oC temperature scales. The LCD Backlight is always on while the unit is on. To enable the laser, press the triangle button while the unit is on. The triangle icon appears on the LCD, indicating the laser is active. The laser sight will then operate when the Measurement button is pressed. To disable the laser, press the triangle button while the unit is on. The unit will automatically turn off after 15 seconds of non-use to conserve battery power. When the Measurement button is pressed, the unit will scan for surface temperatures and update the reading on the LCD screen. When the Measurement button is released, the screen will hold the last reading. The maximum temperature reading appears in the bottom of the screen. The maximum temperature reading will reset after each use. Scan, hold and auto off functions; F°/C° selectable. Includes AAA batteries.
Temperature range -49° to 752°F/-45° to 400°C with one second response time. Accuracy: -49° to 32°F +/- 1.8°F + (-0.1 x (reading -32). Accuracy: -45° to 0°C +/- 1°C = (0.1 x reading).
Accuracy: 32 to 149°F +/- 1.8°F; 0 to 65°C +/- 1°C. Accuracy: above 149°F and 65°C +/- 1.5% of reading. Resolution 1°F / 1°C, distance to spot ratio=6 to 1.
