This Rosewood carving set comes with 8-inch carving knife, carving fork and generous sized rubberwood cutting board with juice groove. The carving knife features a stamped high-carbon steel blade that is hand-finished by skilled craftsman in Switzerland. For steady carving and slicing, the carving fork will hold the meat in place. Stamped Knives are cut into a shape from a cold rolled piece of steel and then ground, tempered, and sharpened. It requires many less steps than forging and results in a lighter, narrower blade.
