This set includes a #240 grit water whetstone, small & large guide rails and storage box. The #240 grit water whetstone is a coarse stone; used to repair chips, damaged knife blades or knives that are completely dull. The small and large guide rails will place the correct blade angle onto the cutting edge. Along with these features a storage box is included to protect the stone and doubles to hold and elevate the stone while sharpening, non-slip feet are on the bottom to hold the storage box/stone in place. This is a great starter kit for those who have not ever used a whetstone. Complete instructions are included. This whetstone should soak in water for 10 to 15 minutes before using.
