These mini-cocottes have rejuvenated my cooking--my husband and I have reached the stage when leftovers are really just waiting to be thrown out, so a charming way to cook individual servings is just the thing. I've tried apple-berry crisp for two (yum), and divine potatoes Anna/scalloped potatoes, but the winner so far has been individual shepherd's pies with mashed potato/sweet potato topping.

I needed a salt storage container w/ a lid, and this fit the bill. I choose to go with black. It works great for my intended use. Although it is a bit pricey to use for salt, I must admit.
