The straight edge won't rock through cuts such as a traditional chef's knife.
Yaxell Takehisa features a 245-layer Damascus blade with geometric pattern and beautiful black beech pakkawood handle with traditional Japanese Samurai family crest. The special micro-marbide powder stainless steel ZDP189 cutting core with extremely high Rockwell hardness of 66 provides ultimate cutting performance. The four Japanese Kanji characters hand-engraved on the front side of the blade is known as "Takehisa, the Samurai Spirit". Handcrafted in Seki City, Japan with a lifetime warranty.
